Discovery of Starsteel

In medieval Melbourne, a spirited hamlet nestled among lush greenery, young blacksmith Henry Steelheart was renowned for crafting the strongest blades and shields. One fateful day, while exploring the deep mines near Frankston, Henry stumbled upon an ancient ore, unlike anything he had ever seen. It shimmered with an ethereal light, and the air around it hummed with energy.

Henry rushed to the village elder with the ore clutched in his hands. His eyes widened as the elder spoke in hushed tones about the legendary Starsteel, a metal said to have fallen from the heavens. The elder recounted tales of ancient warriors wielding weapons made of Starsteel that could vanquish the most formidable foes. The metal was believed to possess mystical properties and was revered as being able to create the best steel supplies Melbourne had ever seen.

Intrigued by the tales, Henry set his heart on forging a blade made of Starsteel. He could already picture the magnificent sword, one that would outshine any blade he had forged before. However, despite his fervour and countless hours by the anvil, the metal proved too challenging to work with using his traditional blacksmithing techniques.

Realising he needed help, Henry sought the wisdom of Master Fabricus, a renowned steel fabricator based in Melbourne. Legends whispered of Fabricus’ ability to breathe life into metal. Henry, carrying the Starsteel, arrived at Fabricus’ forge, which was adorned with intricate metalwork that left Henry in awe.

Master Fabricus was a stern and solitary figure, and he initially dismissed Henry’s request. However, as Henry revealed the Starsteel, Fabricus’ eyes lit up with curiosity. He could feel the pulsating energy of the metal and decided to take Henry under his wing.

Over the course of weeks, Fabricus imparted his knowledge to Henry. They worked tirelessly, with Fabricus teaching him techniques that danced on the edge of magic.

By the end of their time together, they had forged an awe-inspiring blade made of Starsteel that shimmered with an otherworldly light. As Henry held the blade, he could feel its power surging through him, ready to be wielded for a noble cause. He knew this was just the beginning of his journey.
