On the previous episode of “The Blockhead”, our contestants were presented with the task of bathroom design. They each had their unique ideas, and now it was time to see their work come to life.
As I walked into the set, the finished bathrooms sparkled under the studio lights. Each team had put their personal stamp on their respective bathrooms, and the transformation was impressive.
First, I toured Mildred and Millie’s ‘library bathroom’. The vintage clawfoot tub, paired with a built-in bookshelf and ambient lighting, was an intriguing blend of comfort and intellect. The bathroom remodel had given an entirely new meaning to ‘soaking in knowledge’. They’d even come up with a clever air ventilation solution to minimise the risk of mould growing on the books.
Next was Bozo and Fumbles’ funhouse-style bathroom. It was a riot of colours, with water-squirting fixtures and a mosaic of vibrant tiles. A slide instead of a traditional shower stall was their pièce de résistance. It was like a waterpark in your very own home – they could certainly colour me impressed.
Finally, I inspected Rock and Hulk’s ‘gym bathroom’. The built-in weights and resistance bands were certainly a unique touch. The bathroom had a masculine, athletic vibe, with a steam shower and a high-tech mirror displaying workout stats.
As the bathroom design company from Melbourne scrutinised each design, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for these contestants. They’d taken the challenge head-on, transforming a mundane bathroom into a unique space that reflected their personalities, and had overcome many challenges to do so.
After a heated deliberation, the judges declared Bozo and Fumbles the winners, praising their innovative approach to bathroom design. The contestants celebrated, but there was little time to rest. “Next up,” I announced, “we’re tackling laundry renovations!”
The crowd erupted in cheers. The contestants, although tired, seemed to be filled with renewed energy. They were ready for the next challenge. As for me, I couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for us on the next episode of The Blockhead.
